Job Description:

You will be part of the IP Transformation team and assist customers in their migrations to Ethernet and IP. The main activities consist in achitecture design and validation of customer solutions built around home networks, access, aggregtion and core switching , IPTV, NGN/IMS , mobile products and OSS/BSS ( Operations and Business Systems ).
Focus is on end-to-end solutions and migrations towards an all IP networking solution. Together with the customers , the challenges of integration and validation of complex IP solutions are tackled, this at all layers : ethernet , IP and applications. As member of this team, you will have the opportunity to increase your market value by working in areas of IP technical excellence and become a key player in the Alcatel-Lucent customer oriented activities.

The IP transformation architecture design and validation engineer is responsible for:

* High level and Low Level Architecture design of solutions and scaling towards representatieve lab models for validation
* Development of Integration Services which are used for validating solutions. The integration Services are being sold independently as well.
* Hardening of products at network level in a complete IP networking solution topology:
installation, commissioning and step by step verification of functionality towards an
end-to-end functional validation.
* Define the test strategy in an end-2-end environment. Use case driven , centralized around end to end KPI's ( Key Performance indicators ) and KQI's ( Key Quality indicators )
* Based on the test-strategy, run testscenario's in a manual and automated way.
* Gaining a deeper understanding of e2e functionality of solutions offered , in order to see
customer critical items and propose structural innovations for the solutions offered.

d. Mobility : Person should be flexible in supporting lab & field integration activities at the customer premise
