Job Description:
The Systems Consultant is responsible for working with their assigned field sales account executives and inside sales teams to drive and grow the enterprise solutions business.
As the SC, you are the lead resource within your team responsible for discovering, identifying, qualifying and closing Enterprise Server, Storage and Services technology solutions that we sell to our customers.
The SC works with his account team to identify the customer IT decision makers and key influencers in order to build trusting customer relationships that enable (COMPANY NAME) to become primary partner of choice for Enterprise technology solutions (Servers, Storage, Servies and Software) . The SC must be able to identify and overcome the technical barriers associated with the customers IT decision making process.
With a focus on delivering solutions that meet/exceed the IT and Business requirements of our customers which often times are highly complex enterprise solutions, the SC is also responsible for establishing and developing key relationships with ISV partners and systems integrators to allow the account team to offer comprehensive enterprise solutions for their diverse customer environments.
In working to develop the solution for the customer, utilizing PowerEdge Servers, (COMPANY NAME)|EMC and PowerVault Storage, (COMPANY NAME) Professional Services, as well as products from Software/Hardware/Peripheral partners, the SC serves as the technical lead in designing and architecting solutions that not only meet/exceed the IT and business goals, but also deliver outstanding customer experiences
Candidate Requirements:
A candidate must have a thorough understanding of the various technologies utilized to support and improve business performance initiatives for medium to large organizations.
Candidate should have had significant hands-on experience and knowledge about servers, storage (SCSI and Fibre Channel), Tape Backup solutions and related enterprise software applications. Strong SAN/NAS storage product solution knowledge is required. (COMPANY NAME)|EMC storage product solution knowledge is a plus.
Candidate must demonstrate advanced knowledge in Network Operating Systems and Microsoft applications such as SQL and Exchange. Strong knowledge of other database, email, ERP, CRM and other applications is a strong plus. The SC candidate should have strong knowledge and understanding of server/storage consolidation principles, virtualization, business continuity/Disaster Recovery and Thin Client Computing. Network design and security solutions experience is a strong plus.
The candidate must be able to work independently, possess very good communication and presentation skills, strong selling skills, and good time management skills. The candidate must have proven sales track record to that shows the ability to drive for results
