For its "Infrastructures & Large Projects" team, Technum-Tractebel Engineering  is looking for a:

Project Engineer in Railway Engineering

Your function

* You bear responsibility for railway equipment studies for infrastructure projects in the field of heavy and light rail (High Speed Trains, traditional railway lines, underground railways, trams, etc.)
* You work under the supervision of a manager or project manager. The position is for all railway systems and sub-systems
* In contact with high level national and international specialists, you are also called upon to develop expertise in one railway system (electrification, catenaries, lines, RAMS, TSIs, operation, maintenance, etc.)
* Projects are conducted mainly in Belgium and France, but not to the exclusion of large projects in other countries. You are called upon to work on the various phases of projects, from feasibility studies via all aspects of engineering activities to the commissioning of installations

Candidate Requirements:

* You are a civil or electromechanical engineer or similar
* You have good knowledge of French, Dutch and English
* You have an interest in the field of railway infrastructures
* You have several years of experience in the position's field of competence
* You have an open and social mindset in the context of multidisciplinary teamwork
* You are open to acquiring specialised expertise in a specific technical field
* You have management skills (planning, coordination, etc.)
