Job Description:

Position Scope
Provide management and leadership for the circut card layout team in Brno.  To improve customer performance, team satisfaction, manage team performance and development processes. Ensure that state of the art and processes exist, are followed, and that evidence of compliance is maintained.  Identify and provide standard metrics and develop strategies to become more integrated with other board layout groups.  Responsible for managing projects to achieve business objectives, customer deliverables and AOP budgets. Responsible for working cross site activities with focus on establishing and implementing common tools, processes and practices.  Build working relationships with customers and provide technical oversight and guidance.  Provide a work environment that promotes professional development and growth.

Key Responsibilities
*      Printed Board Design
*      Printed Board Assembly layout
*      Product DFM/DTC/Manufacturability
*      Rationalization of design capacity using MAT or other resourcing tools
*      Participate AERO level Board Layout Process initiatives   
*      Productivity Improvements
*      Working with Value Engineering
*      Metrics on quality, manufacturability and performance
*      Track status in the Design Tracking System
*      Employee management and mentoring
*      Goals and results of the team

Other Responsibilities

Incumbent will be responsible for driving objectives / metrics in the following areas: Cost Performance Index, Schedule Performance Index, Budget Execution, Milestone Fidelity, Layout Error Rate, Design Cycle Time, First Pass Success, Internal Customer Satisfaction,  Labor & Yield Fill Rate, Employee Satisfaction and Safety

Candidate Requirements:

Specific Qualifications as they relate to  :
1.      Education & Training (e.g. special degree or certificate) 
* BASc. Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent (minimum)
*  2.      Special skills (e.g. language, computer literacy etc...) 
* Excellent command of English language mandatory
* Strong communication and goal planning skills
* Project management skills.
* Mentoring skills.
* Knovledge of the IPDS or similar development process 
* Ability to work effectively as part of an EH COE
* Capability and willingness to travel to USA  3.  Experience 
* 3-5 years related electrical hardware design and or electrical design layout experience
* 2 years related experience with leading team (5-10 members)
* Mentor and Intercept layout tools experience  Experience with design and or layout avionics multilayer boards is advantage
