Brief job description
reporting to the engineering leader, the individual will be responsible for:
1) defining, designing, developing, verifying, and supporting development and production of cost-effective trvs, mrvs, balancing valves or hydronic valve inserts for use within within homes hydronic control and heating products.
2) performing product-lifecycle and support activities for (COMPANY NAME) hydronic products.
3) augmenting the existing (COMPANY NAME) heating and cooling systems competencies

Candidate Requirements:

Specify Major Educational Field Preferred:  Degree Educated to Bachelor, or Masters level.
Specify Degree Preferred : Mechanical Design Degree (Bachelor-equivalent or Higher) from University.
Minimum Requirements (Experience/Skills )
The individual must be able to demonstrate at least 1 year experience of designing and developing new products in materials such as plastics, brass and bronze. Candidate should also possess knowledge of processes such as forging, castings, moldings and typical machining operations.
The candidate should be able to describe the underlying principles, characteristics, and considerations as applicable to the development, manufacture or use of hydronic products. The individual should demonstrate experience of design for manufacture, design for test, Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), as well as structured quality and design methdologies such as DFSS. They should also demonstrate experience of product planning, product costing, and production process capability methodologies.
The individual should demonstrate experience of Pro-Engineer and Wildfire 3. Experience of mold flow analysis, ProMechanica I. and analysis tools would be advantageous. In addition, the individual must
demonstrate good communication, inter-personal,  customer support, team player, and analytical skills as well as written and verbal English language skills.
Possession of German language skills would be considered as an advantage. The individual should be willing to travel abroad if it is required
