Job Description:

Responsibilities
* Monitor and respond to system generated Alerts and other incidents
* Proactive application and infrastructure monitoring, incident management, problem, change, Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), escalation management etc.
* Responsible for delivering the day-to-day activities using Site scope /BAC, HP OpenView and other monitoring tools.
* Acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for monitoring and infrastructure related issues.
* Support Vendors (Level 3) in troubleshooting on gateways and other infrastructure.
* Provide symptom check, critical situation analysis, recovery planning and implementation.
* Serve as liaison between Level 1 (Service Desk staffs) and Level 3 to effectively deliver services
* Identify and escalate appropriately any condition that could lead to a negative impact on (COMPANY NAME) teams to support their customers (end-users)
* Collect and report on infrastructure performance data such as CPU, Memory usage, Disk Space, and etc. utilizing current tools and methodologies provided by (COMPANY NAME)
* Conduct trend analysis on infrastructure and application performance data

Candidate Requirements:

Skills requirements
* High School Diploma necessary, Bachelor's Degree appreciated
* 2 Years of experience in IT
* Knowledge of area of Monitoring of Infrastructure and/or Application
* Good basic understanding of Business IT - servers, networking etc.
* Ability to logically troubleshoot and correlate events.
* Ability to handle customer pressure effectively.
* Able to work closely with a team spread globally across different time zones.
* Flexibility and willingness to learn new things
* English - being able to communicate both in writing and verbally
