The job At ELC we manage localization of (COMPANY NAME) Institute's software products. We are a small team of 10 people of 6 different nationalities. We work closely with a network of localization teams and translation vendors in several countries. The specific duties include:
· Preparing and launching localization projects and closely monitoring their progress and timely delivery. · Handling outsourced localization projects and interacting with translation vendors. · Cooperating with terminologist and technical staff for smooth project execution. · Supporting in-house translators and localization testers
Candidate Requirements:
Qualifications First of all you are a dedicated professional with a sharp analytical sense. You are driven by working independently and having great influence on your workday. · An academic degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Modern Languages or another linguistic/quantitative field. · Experience with localization project management and translation. · Effective and persuasive communication and negotiation skills - particularly in English. · CAT tools experience.
