Job Description:

*        Providing pre-sales technical support to field sales people
*        Being accountable for the technical validity/interoperability of solution
*        Having direct relationship with the customers' strategic business plans
*        Making presentations on all aspects of (COMPANY NAME)'s products & services to assist in assessing potential applications
*        Providing broad customer coverage as a subordinate in an account
*        Having hands on architecture in developing/implementing complex solutions
*        Working as part of a team to achieve a common goal
*        Having the customer's perspective while understanding the sales process
*        Being involved in opportunities to see through 'complex solutions' versus 'single solutions'
*        Conducting customer needs analysis and project scoping

Candidate Requirements:

*        Having high degrees of technical competency to respond to customer needs and discuss product capabilities/applications with technical users/buyers.
*        Good knowledge of competitor's products and services
*        Solid knowledge of (COMPANY NAME)'s partners' products
*        (COMPANY NAME) infrastructure and how it works together in a Data Center
*        (COMPANY NAME) Internal networks (formal, informal, political)
*        Knowledge of how the different 'technical' solutions work together
*        (COMPANY NAME)'s Internal Networks (people and organization)
*        General industry/market knowledge
*        Knowledge of or certification in competitor's products
*        IT processes and procedures
