Channel Systems Engineer - Field Enterprise Specialist

Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to increase (COMPANY NAME)'s Enterprise share within our Channel Partners. This role is focused on ensuring that our Partners have the latest information available on our Enterprise Product Portfolio to enable them to effectively go to market with (COMPANY NAME) lead Solutions.  This role will work closely with the Channel Development Managers (CDMs) to successfully grow our Enterpriser business.

Primary Responsibilities

Y  Enterprise Technologist - Demonstrate deep knowledge of Product Portfolio, Roadmaps and Solutions Application to our Partners
Y  Ensure that product know is current in our key product offering
Y  Work closely with Account Managers / partners to maximise / increase pipeline
Y  Training - Deliver ongoing training to key partners on the technology, its value proposition and unique selling points
Y  Partner Events - Attend and Present at (COMPANY NAME) Partner events and events organized by our Partners for their end users.
Y  Co-ordinate additional resources as necessary
Y  Project Management - Take an active role in the management of projects or activities relating to partners and enterprise technology, including but not limited to:
-      Certification
-      Partner Incentives
Y  Recommend business solutions considering customer needs and (COMPANY NAME) interests

Candidate Requirements:

·          Excellent server, storage and services knowledge
·          Excellent understanding of (COMPANY NAME)'s go-to-market strategy and the ability to communicate this to our partners.
·          Excellent understanding and knowledge of competitors.
·          Excellent presentation skills
·          Balanced interpersonal skills including confidence, approachability and assertiveness
·          Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and influencing skills
·          Prioritisation ability and time management skills
·          Strong understanding of the relationship business
·          Excellent business acumen/product knowledge which you will use to influence our Partners decision to sell (COMPANY NAME) enterprise products and services
·          Proven track record selling Storage Class Enterprise products & Enterprise BID management
