Jobinfo:
Based in our office located in Germany's capital city, you will support our software development division. As an intern you will assist our team of software engineers with the development, maintenance and documentation of a new and innovative software tool for improving room acoustics. 

The software consists of three modules:

1) 3D-Editor for a virtual representation of the room

2) Measurement-module, which enables accurate measuring of acoustical properties

3) Optimization-module, which represents practical solutions for improving room acoustics

Your tasks will include: 

- Development and refactoring of Java applications

- Modification of software components according to R&D guidelines

- Documentation of software components


Duration of internship: 6 to 12 month

Salary: €300 - €400 per month

About us: 
We are a Berlin based startup, working on innovative products for improving the room acoustics of small rooms like recording studios, home cinemas, etc. We are supported by the European Social Fund of the EU, the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and the Technical University of Berlin (department: Audio communication group). Our office resides in a university building. We are prize winners of the national Founder competition "Multimedia" and were awarded for our innovative business concept at CeBIT 2010.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications:

- Student or Graduate in Information technology or similar

- Respectable experience with Java
 
- Fluent English or German and good communication skills

- Experience with ECLIPSE, Signal Processing (especially streaming, FFT and convolution) and/or Room Acoustics is advantageous
