general summary

(COMPANY NAME) has a track record for employing and developing the very best sales professionals in the industry. we invest in employee development training and sales resources to achieve our high standards. until now (COMPANY NAME) sold primarily direct to the customer. (COMPANY NAME) has now opened indirect channels to support our direct model. one of these channels will be the isg (industry solutions group) channel responsible for developing our oem business in emea.  we are now looking for oem business development managers to join the new emea isg team. these are customer facing roles based in the major european markets requiring fluency in english plus the local market languages. the business development managers will acquire and develop oem business in their assigned territory within the (COMPANY NAME) emea region.

principal duties and responsibilities:

working closely with the isg account teams & sales managers
identify and support the development of new and existing oem projects within  large global customers
be the face of (COMPANY NAME)'s oem business to the customer
build multi-level customer relationships and support the isg account team and management  to drive growth
proactively communicate and sell isg services to drive account growth

identify and manage pipeline of opportunities, track projects and manage biweekly operational calls with support of the account manager
co-owns the respective business plan for assigned accounts with the isg sales team
providing all forecasts/updates required by sales management to required deadlines
support driving quarterly financial targets, metrics & objectives
consistently deliver a great customer experience
work closely with all aligned teams, e.g. internal sales, program management & solutions resources to fulfill the customer requests

Candidate Requirements:

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

proven face to face sales track record
oem sales experience highly desirable
strong drive for results, and customer responsiveness
focus on consistently delivering a great customer experience.
understanding of cem , dells processes and support services
team player & leader, comfortable working in/with international teams
capable of designing account plans and strategies to win oem business
strong analytical skills and financial acumen
good presentation skills including mastering ms-office products
strong product knowledge and ability to quickly learn new product and technical offerings
fluent english and german at business negotiation level
willingness to travel internationally as required
