Job Description
In your role as a Software Quality Assurance/Test Engineer you will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance and execution of functional/system level tests, and associated quality assurance of our products. You will work closely with R&D software development engineers in an agile development model, hand in hand with your colleagues as new product features are being investigated, designed and implemented. You will ensure that new features are designed and implemented with testability in mind, and you will implement the necessary tests to verify that user  requirements are met.

As a Software Quality Assurance/Test Engineer you have a good understanding of software development and the software testing lifecycle, and you have started to gain experience in applying software testing techniques, processes, and tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
* Specification, development/implementation, automation, execution and maintenance of tests
* Evaluation/analysis and documentation of test results, and effective communication of status with development and other related groups
* Applying the spirit of Continuous Improvement in all aspects of software test (e.g. processes, tools, cost) to increase productivity

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidates (f/m) must obtain the following skills: 
* Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
* Good knowledge and understanding of software testing procedures, practices and tools
* Proven development capabilities in one or more of the following languages: Java, C 
* Good analytical and problem solving skills
* Strong interpersonal networking and communication skills
* Team player with the ability to work in a multi-cultural and international environment, as well as ability to work independently on specific tasks
* Fluent in English (spoken and written)
* Good German language skills  Desired 
* Windows and UNIX knowledge (user and admin)
* Test tools (e.g. Quality Center, QTP) knowledge
* Knowledge with scripting languages (e.g. VBScript, UX shell script, PERL)
