Job Description:

The Hotel Management placement (winter season) is based in Corfu island in Greece, one of the most touristic and beautiful Greek islands. The programme includes essential limited hands-on hotel work training into all departments such as: Reception, Housekeeping, Bar/Breakfast and extensive exposure into Tourism Marketing,  Hotel Sales Promotions, Hotel Online Internet Marketing, Advertising, Operational Management, Business Development and hands-on General Management. 

This Hotel Management Internship offers practical work experience and exposure in a stimulating resourceful entrepreneurial hotel business. An independent, self-sufficient, adaptive, friendly and flexible attitude is a must in order to maximize the benefits of this unique opportunity as well as to melt into the extended environment of the island and the local village. 

The internship is valid from November/December till the end of May/June and for a minimum of three (3) months to maximum six (6) months in total. Applicants are expected to arrange finance either via a European grant such as Leonardo, Erasmus or any other means. Working hours are 40 hours per week and we offer free shared staff accommodation.

Your Profile 

You are enthusiastic, practical and inventive with imagination and artistic flair. You are naturally inspired by travelling and tourism and challenged by business opoortunities. You want to gain knowledge from the practical point of view. 

You want to spent productive and peaceful time next to the beach. You are likely to be studying Tourism / Hotel / Business / Marketing science and have some relevant work experience. 

Additional Requirements: 
* European school. 
* 18 years old and above 
* Educational background in Tourism / Hotel / Catering / Business / Marketing studies 
* Language skills - English and second mother tongue language essential 
* University and work references
