general summary

(COMPANY NAME) has a track record for employing and developing the very best professionals in the industry. we invest in employee development training and sales resources to achieve our high standards. until now (COMPANY NAME) sold primarily direct to the customer. (COMPANY NAME) has now opened indirect channels to support our direct model. one of these channels will be the i.s.g. (industrial system group) channel responsible for developing our o.e.m. business in emea.  we are now looking for o.e.m. business development managers to join the new emea isg team. these are customer facing roles based in the major european markets requiring fluency in english plus the local market languages. the business development managers will acquire and develop oem business in their assigned territory within the (COMPANY NAME) emea region.

principal duties and responsibilities:

lead development of new and existing oem business in assigned territories and account/prospect bases.
be face of (COMPANY NAME)'s oem business with customer building multi-level customer relationships
proactively communicate and sell (COMPANY NAME)'s full range of products and o.e.m. services.
build and manage pipeline of opportunities
providing all forecasts/updates required by sales management to required deadlines
achieve quarterly financial targets, metrics & objectives
consistently deliver a great customer experience
work closely with aligned team of internal sales, program management & solutions resources.
working closely with direct account managers & sales managers of the accounts we are selling oem business to

Candidate Requirements:

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

proven face to face sales track record,
oem experience highly desirable
strong drive for results,
focus on consistently delivering a great customer experience.
team player & leader
capable of designing  plans and strategies to win oem business
strong product knowledge and ability to quickly learn new product and technical offerings
fluent english as well as local language
willingness to travel internationally desirable, will initially at least cover large geographical areas
