Job Description:
(COMPANY NAME) is rapidly developing its (COMPANY NAME) Branded and Third Party electronics and accessories business. This role is located within the Consumer Electronics and Accessories (E&A) Product Management team and will report into the Consumer E&A Regional Leader. The role is targeted at product managing our one or more of our 3rd party electronics and accessories categories. Responsibilities · Manage and drive the Strategy, and Revenue and Margin to specific targets for the targeted 3rd party categories across our Direct channels and Geographies within the EMEA region. · Understand, anticipate and communicate the business performance of the targeted categories to key stakeholders - do this across channels and geographies · Understand and communicate the market and competitor conditions affecting the targeted categories · Own, plan, initiate and close short, medium, and long term initiatives to drive the success of the targeted categories · Work collaboratively with Merchandising, Pricing, Supply Chain, Global and other (COMPANY NAME) teams to ensure the efficient and effective day to day operation of the targeted categories day to day · Act as the central point of contact, and as product expert, within the EMEA region for all issues relating the targeted categories · Work with Procurement to drive and develop in depth relationships with relevant 3rd party partners to secure favourable product terms and conditions for (COMPANY NAME) in EMEA - use these relationships to maintain and grow the targeted categories · Own the selection of 3rd party products relevant to the targeted categories, which (COMPANY NAME) will sell via Direct channels · Work collaboratively with relevant 3rd party partner brands to select and secure frequent commercial product opportunities, relevant to the categories, for (COMPANY NAME) tied into (COMPANY NAME)'s marketing plans
Candidate Requirements:
Experience and Background · In depth consumer electronics background in a product management related field, e.g. with a consumer electronics branded manufacturer and/or a major electronics retailer such as Amazon, DSGI, e-buyer or similar · Extensive professional experience in buying/ retailing/product managing consumer electronics through retail/e-tail channels · Strong analytical and commercial skills · Strategically and business aware · Highly results driven · Strong interest in technology · Strong interest in consumer
