job purpose:
to lead, manage and measure team activities in order to achieve budgeted revenue. encourage good working practices to deliver a supportive and motivational working environment.

principal duties and responsibilities:
·        to develop manage and over achieve target revenue to address the reseller marketplace within uki.
·        to ensure strong partnerships between the company and customers through the co-ordination of sales, contracts, technical support teams and internal sales on specific accounts.
·        to keep abreast of customer and industry trends, taking appropriate action.
·        to manage escalated customer issues as appropriate.
·        to ensure, through the sales team, that accounts are kept informed of any changes within (COMPANY NAME), including products, offers, literature, etc.
·        to ensure that all the team members have timely and regular performance reviews, objectives and career development plans
·        to conduct regular one-to-one meetings with team members and weekly team meetings with team.
to ensure a high level of employee performance and morale.
·        to participate in the hiring process and on-boarding of new hires.
·        provide all team members with training, coaching and mentoring opportunities as required.
business metrics ~ provide consolidated report on all required team metrics to rsm and finance on a weekly basis.
ensure that all team members meet their weekly telephone metrics
·        drive accurate team forecasting and review weekly new bid opportunities

Candidate Requirements:

Experience/qualifications:

·previous relevant experience as a successful it sales professional in the pc or related industry sector
·a proven track record of building and managing a high performing sales team
·strong communication and presentation skills
·a high degree of customer focus
·knowledge of the reseller marketplace
previous experience of selling within the it market.
