Job Description:

As as Solutions Architect you will be responsible for: 
* Supporting sales cycles involving all unstructured data technologies on offer from (COMPANY NAME) in the EMEA region by, for example, demonstrating technologies in ongoing sales situations, speaking at events as a thought leader and domain expert and handling proof of concepts
* Liaising with other departments at (COMPANY NAME) to drive product direction, marketing and sales messages and to increase revenue of unstructured data technologies from (COMPANY NAME)
* Scoping and defining work effort, resource plan and estimates cost on phase/project.  Conducting project requirements gathering
* Working on consulting projects and special projects as assigned; acting as technical lead on projects as assigned
* Delivering standard, customized and/or strategic, senior level solution demonstrations and presentations outlining the functional capabilities, competitive advantages and business benefits of the (COMPANY NAME) solutions as they apply to client needs
* Installing (COMPANY NAME) solutions and any required supporting products for knowledge sharing and demonstration purposes
* Assisting in the response to RFI/RFP's utilizing the RFP Repository and crafting thorough and compelling answers
* Providing reliable delivery of targeted project results through role as expert in the application of specific (COMPANY NAME) methodologies, projects and technologies
* Participating in product and solution training to acquire and maintain a detailed level of product knowledge of core components of (COMPANY NAME) offerings and assigned solution areas, how each solution addresses business challenges, competitive information to identify how our solution stands apart, and what challenges/limitations may be encountered
* Understanding, utilizing and communicating best practice methodologies internally and externally
* Providing support for regional business development activities and marketing events
* Working proactively with Systems Engineers, Technical Architects and other Solutions Architects to strategize on opportunities, cross-training and knowledge transfer

Candidate Requirements:

Educational Background 
* Linguistic training and practical experience, especially in the fields of syntax, semantics, pragmatics, lexicography
* Strong language skills, with foreign language ability a big plus
* Familiarity with computational linguistics, natural language processing, or text retrieval would be useful  Skills and Experience 
* Experience building or working with taxonomies or ontologies highly desirable
* Strong logical, analytical, organizational abilities with a high level of common sense and excellent follow-through
* Experience with text analytics as well as in the linguistic area an advantage
* Self-motivated, energetic, good attention to detail, fast learner
* Programming experience  Additional Information 
* Location is open to anywhere in Europe
* Must be fluent in English and posses strong presentation skills
* Must be willing to travel (probably 50% of the time once fully operational in the role)
