Job Description:
Individual contributor responsible for selling company products, systems and services in assigned territory through indirect sales channels such as: VAR, Systems Integrators, Distributors, Dealers and Partners. Represents the company to the Channel and the Channel to the company in all sales-oriented activities, including marketing, advertising, sales promotions, training and other Channel-related support.
Responsibilities
1. Identify business trends in the channel and positions (COMPANY NAME) to capture business. 2. Develop and implement Partner Program strategies. 3. Be an important 'go to' person for the key channel partners to ensure they are supported in the best possible way. 4. Achieve sales revenue quota objectives (revenue, margin and solutions/enterprise targets) consistently on a quarterly based compensation plan. 5. Have a strong understanding of Business Partner/customer needs; use partner/customer feedback and leverages cross-functional team to improve sales/customer experience. 6. Rapidly adapt sales plans to incorporate new product and service offerings in support of expanding (COMPANY NAME)'s market portfolio acceptance. 7. Work with marketing on developing effective campaigns, promotions and incentives to consistently achieve business objectives and increase demand. 8. Build and maintain a strong working relationship within Business Partner/account based on trust, respect and professional sales skills
Candidate Requirements:
Relevant knowledge and skills * Proven experience and networking within Business Partner community * Minimum 5 years of extended expertise in Business Partner management selling complex IT solutions, i.e. hardware, servers, storage, software and services * Skillfully negotiates with others to achieve desired results/meet customer needs * Strong business acumen * Ability to leverage other teams, such as internal sales force, pre-sales, services consultant, product managers, finance people * Strong oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel and management * Effective team behaviour * Ability to work in parallel on multiple projects and under tight deadlines * Fluent English (M)
