Job Description:
Powerstorm is a global telecom infrastructure equipment provider offering services in the field of asset and supply chain management, engineering, repair and maintenance. It is a US based Telecom Company with a local Sales office in Bussum, the Netherlands (Gooi area, between Amsterdam and Utrecht) and two subsidiaries in Bucharest, Romania and Los Angeles, USA.

A member of Logistics department team is considered to deliver maximum performance and promote company's development and growth by being actively involved in supply chain management at international level. The main tasks are to successfully handle inbound/outbound shipments, including creating all related to them documents and keeping track of them until they reach their final destination. Besides that, there is a strong focus on stock management, approval and dispatch of payment invoices from warehouse/transportation companies. An inevitable part of responsibilities of a logistics specialist is requesting and negotiating quotes with freight forwarders/couriers/vendors/transportation companies/ etc. as well as dealing with the clients' bills.

Type of Function: Full-Time/Internship
As a member of logistics department team you will be:
Planning and directing flow of goods for import/export in domestic and international destinations. Preparing and executing detail and accurate shipping documentation in advance for the transportation of goods in both domestic and international destinations.
Maintaining logistics planning tools and following through the entire process in timely matters. Acting as a liaison with suppliers, shippers and recipients and facilitating the delivery process, to ensure swift customs clearance and on time delivery.
Working with and building relationships with logistics vendors and warehouses in order to reduce costs and maximize the efficiency.
Identifying areas of improvement in the logistics process and suggesting solutions.
Collaborating with internal teams to fulfil the entire project cycle and internal auditing process. Performing other required duties. Preparing daily progress reports to Logistics and General Managers.
Liaising and negotiating with suppliers/customers/freight forwarders.
Promoting business development by analyzing problems concerning logistics processes and providing new solutions.
Monitoring the quality, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
Candidate Requirements:
Proficient English language skills, written and verbal.
Some experience in Logistics is welcomed.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Detail orientation. Discipline and ability to work independently with minimum supervision and to work with the team.
Excellent in time management, self organization and stress management.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills, including telephone etiquette. Multitasking ability.
Flexibility.
Pro-activity.
Good computer skills, especially Excel.
Additional foreign language is a plus.
Academic Requirements:
Academic education in a business-related field: International Business and Management Studies, Business and Economics, International Management, etc. specialization in Logistics (Bachelor & Master Degrees).
Availability for the period of at least 6 months for internships and 12 months for full-time with a possibility of extension.
