Job Description:

The Challenge
Under supervision of the head of the finance department assure accounting records are maintained and accounting entries are processed in line with corporate requirements and IFRS legislation.

* Being the number one contact for all intercompany service invoicing. 
* Assuring intercompany service invoices are send out in time and costs are properly booked.
* Responsible for booking banks and determining daily foreign currency hedge exposure.
* Liaising with Shared Financial Service Center and sales order desk about various cash transactions or serve invoice matters.
* Heavily hands on involvement with the monthly closing; assuring accounts receivable and account payable balances are reconciled with various (COMPANY NAME) entities.
* Supporting with various on going accounting matters.
* Responsible for  filling out various management report forms.
* Liaising with various controllers about accounting entries.
* Check invoices on completeness and correctness of data with regard to account assignment and  (international) VAT aspects.
* Weekly analysis and approval of AP payments runs as provided by the AP team.
* Responsible for  VAT and Intrastat declarations.
* Provide cashflow overview and forecast on a monthly basis.
* Setting up projects in SAP project module upon request.
* Maintaining SAP fixed assets administration.
* Maintain records of specific projects and or accounting entries.
* Assure financial procedures are renewed and updated.
* Assisting the head of the finance department with all other matters upon request

Candidate Requirements:

the ideal
you have a finance related hbo-education, a few years of experience in a similar kind of job in a production (ore trade) and business-to-business environment. your computer skills are excellent sap (r3), excel and word. you have excellent communication skills in dutch and english and you have a pro active sociable personality. you are able to work in stressful situations and be flexible towards working hours.
