(COMPANY NAME) food specialties develops, produces, market ingredients and processing aids for the dairy, savoury, beverage and nutritional markets. the business group consists of the business units savoury ingredients, enzymes & dairy ingredients, a global sales department, the (COMPANY NAME) biotechnology center and an operations organization, in addition to a number of staff departments. there is a strong cooperation within the nutrition cluster ((COMPANY NAME) nutritional products) to develop new ingredients to the market of functional food. part of the business unit savoury ingredients is the yeast manufacturing plant located in delft, the netherlands. this factory produces yeast extracts for food applications and fermentation industry. the product portfolio in our business is developing continuously, resulting in new product development and the requirement for the introduction of new production processes.

the challenge
as part of the business unit savoury ingredients, we are looking for a qa manager in the 'gist productie bedrijf' (gpb). the qa manager is part of management team of the gpb and will report to the plant manager. the qa department consists of management and 3 qa advisors.

the key tasks of the qa manager are: 
* responsible for coaching and managing the qa department in line with budget, planning & targets
* responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing the quality policy and systems to guarantee and improve processes and product quality
* responsible for executing internal and external audits
* responsible for the product release of the gpb/tollers
* responsible for the execution of the timely quality analysis
* manage qa or multidisciplinary projects  terms of conditions

Candidate Requirements:

The Ideal
You have a Bachelor or a University Degree and you have experience of working in Quality Assurance/Control leadership function in the Food or Pharma Industry. Your strong analytical skills help you to perform well as a QA Manager. You can identify yourself with a supportive attitude and with strong functional leadership. You have excellent communication skills in Dutch, English and preferably another language.
