Job Description:

The (COMPANY NAME) Marketing Office (DMO) has the ambition to become a world class marketing competence center and be the preferred solution provider for the Business Groups in their drive for sustainable results. Pricing as a key component is identified as one of the important levers for (COMPANY NAME) to improve its (financial) performance and to improve its market- and customer orientation including a more logic, consistent steering of the market focusing on long-term value propositioning. In order to support the businesses of (COMPANY NAME) to focus more on value based pricing concepts and a mindset change towards more market orientation, a best practice has been developed to support business projects with the so-called Excellerate Approach. Excellerate focuses on (re-)defining customer segments, value identification of products/services and defining pricing strategies and tactics as well as their translation into account plans while focusing on identifying value capturing opportunities by creating more consistency in pricing and pricing differentiation.

The challenge

Within our team we are looking per direct for a Team Lead Excellerate

The main tasks of a team lead are: 
* Implementation champion: Accountable for execution of pricing projects across (COMPANY NAME) conform the defined approaches
* Responsible  for day-to-day management / planning of the activities of the individual team-members and coach of the work stream leaders in cooperation with the Program Director
* Monitoring progress during implementation phase of executed pricing projects
* Ensuring a further improvement in awareness of importance of pricing within the commercial discipline in general and within the BG/BU during the execution of pricing projects.
* Advice BG/BU on relevant changes/improvements in pricing related and/or organizational issues
* Acquire new projects for Excellerate

Candidate Requirements:

The Team Lead we have in mind should have proven business experience at senior level within (COMPANY NAME) (at least 10 years), in the field of Marketing, Sales, and/or Purchasing, and/or e-Business and/or Supply Chain management. You have a strong content knowledge of pricing relevant aspects, and you have project and change management skills. You have experience in managing a multicultural team, and you are strongly person oriented. You are willing to travel and flexible. You have a drive for results, outward looking, and a change agent.
