Health and Safety Specialist

The main task within the role is to oversee health and safety at work of the (COMPANY NAME) employees in Poland as well as to ensure company's compliance with Polish H&S regulations. This is also to create an environment within which the company can reduce the risk to its employees of occupational injury. To work closely with the Senior Site, Senior Country Officers and the Global Head of EHS to ensure (COMPANY NAME) H&S policy are adhered to at all times.

Duties:

1.      First Aid
·        Ensure adequate numbers of staff  are trained for first aid duties,
·        Maintain sufficient first aid supplies,
·        Monitor the accident book and investigate all accidents;
2.      Fire Safety
·        Carry out necessary trainings,
·        Keep records of fire extinguishers, location and servicing;
3.      Carry out necessary risk assessments and audits;
4.      Prepare and introduce required procedures and policies;
5.      Inspect work conditions;
6.      Inspect office preparedness for emergency situations

Candidate Requirements:

* At least a diploma of a technical high school with a Health & Safety specialization. Preferably a bachelor/master in H&S or graduate of postgraduate studies in this field.
* Min. 2 years of experience working in office environment of over 300 people
* Good IT/ Technical skills, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
* Ability to communicate (written/oral) in English.
* Ability to build relationships with, and influence all levels within an organization.
* Ability to work within fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multi-cultural business environment.
