The Healthcare & Science business of (COMPANY NAME) provides intelligent information to better manager the cost and quality of healthcare and accelerate scientific research and innovation.

This position will be responsible for development of the EMEA market working closely with Sales to develop and deliver targeted sales presentations for pre-sales efforts for new prospects - across our entire product portfolio including third party partner content - as well as selling the value of additional content and backfile data (archive data) to this market. The position will work closely with EMEA Sales Management, CE&SS Philadelphia and GMS and Sales management in Philadelphia. For pre-sales work the Account Manager will analyze potential prospects primarily but not limited to France, Northern Africa, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

* Provide pre- and post-sales education and training programs for current and potential customers (included TR internal customers as required)  via Webex sessions, customer on-site workshops, seminars, exhibits and conferences with the goal of making a significant contribution towards the maintenance and growth of (COMPANY NAME) A&G revenue. The position will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the training/education contacts at both the consortia and site level and managing ongoing training commitments for all consortia or accounts within predetermined territories. Included in this responsibility is scheduling, organizing, promoting and planning all education course work and the design and development of all electronic materials for AG customers. He/She will be responsible for reporting on weekly activities, updating the training calendar and schedule, preparing customer reports as required, and playing a positive role in developing customer relationships.
* Design, plan, maintain, and assist in the production of education materials and support materials - writes, edits, reviews, gathers and designs and proof reads materials.  In particular, a key component of this role will be the development of recorded presentations to be delivered via the Internet. (WebEx and BrainShark). Development of training materials to increase usage and customization of training aids for geographic areas (development of materials in foreign languages). This person will be solely responsible for analysis of the market in specific areas and the development of materials (electronic) to address customer needs.
* As required, provide web-ex and/or on-site customer demos of the core (COMPANY NAME) Academic and Government Market products.  Work with the sales force and the Customer Education & Sales Support team to assist customers in understanding the value of TR products and services. Work with Strategic Marketing and Global Marketing services to devise a plan to market our products and training services to specific territories.
* To deputise for team members / your line manager as and when required. 
* To take responsibility for identifying your own training and developmental on an on-going basis. This person will be responsible for ongoing education working with CE & SS director to be up to speed on all TR products - core A&G and non-core A&G, including industry advancements and technology.
* To make positive efforts to promote personal safety and that of others by taking reasonable care at work, by carrying out the requirements of the law or following recognised codes of practice provided or advised by management to ensure safe working practices.
* To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager/director on a permanent or temporary basis

Candidate Requirements:

* Educated to degree level - preferably librarianship/information studies, or in chemistry, life sciences (or a related discipline). MLS or Specialized degree preferred. 
* Polish and knowledge of 1-2 other European languages, Russian and/or other languages. Proficiency in English. 
* Excellent public speaking capabilities as demonstrated by numerous public speaking experiences. Ability to present and to talk with all levels of management. This person will be presenting at all levels - library directors, research management, ministry of sciences, etc. 
* Strong training skills (both in person and via the Internet) as demonstrated by formal training or comparable experience.
* Solid interpersonal communication and problem solving skills.
* Ability to distil and communicate technical information in terms users can understand to both small and large groups and to handle questions in a commercially astute and sensitive manner.
* Strong customer service orientation and demonstrated active listening skills
* Demonstrated organization, planning and project coordination skills - ability to multitask is essential.
* Ability to meet deadlines and manage classroom environments and WebEx sessions to ensure timely completion of training.
* Excellent knowledge of TR products and services, particularly web-based platforms. Knowledge of TS database content and organization.
* Thorough knowledge of TS product competitors in particular and as a whole and the ability to maintain an ongoing, updated knowledge base to be able to handle all queries and questions.
* Must be able to work both independently and in teams - Must be a self starter. This person will be tasked with the analysis of the Italian university market to design and present sales and education materials to increase usage.
* Strong technical skills.
* Strong background in sciences.
* This job involves traveling, both in EMEA and abroad (with overnight stays). Travel will be approximately 35-45% of total time.
