Job Description:

this is a job summary which includes essential job duties of the position.  more specific information regarding duties may be provided upon request for particular locations and facilities.

the dt coordinator is responsible to coordinate the warehousing and transportation activity of the site and optimise and secure customer service and quality level.
distribution
·        operational support: support gefco in daily warehouse operations; be entry point for gefco for a day to day activity
·        contract: monitor costs & performance as per contract
·        customer service / sales & marketing contact: be the key contact for customer service, sales & marketing
·        claims & returns management: investigate and respond to dc claims; also to monitor the use of the return procedure on site and in coordination with the local cs office
·        quality control: be (COMPANY NAME)'s ultimate decision maker in case of quality issues (inbound, outbound, returns)
·        communication coordinator:  the process facilitator of the communication between gefco and newell
·        workload planning support: close work with gefco on the weekly planning and order book scheduling of the po, do & co; also to present a longer time horizon on peak seasons and special events & activities
·        stock integrity monitoring on the distribution side: look at a daily report of any discrepancies between newell system and gefco wms and action on the exceptions
·        invoice approval, accruals & reporting: approve & verify warehousing invoices; gather data and issue reporting to assist decision making and accounting
·        e&o management: to review the list of dead products for cleaning actions
·        issue resolutions: drive issue resolution on ad-hoc basis (e.g. updating gefco certificate of origin booklet)
·        productivity projects: continuously scan moscow supply chain for productivity opportunities; give idea and show improvement opportunities

·        transportation
·        contract management: ensure co-ordination between warehouse and carriers; facilitate flows, in particular with reference to a daily loads and pick up times; also monitor costs & performance as per contracts.
·        customer service / sales & marketing contact : be the key contact for customer service, sales & marketing on tracking & tracing the consignment
·        cross border documentation coordination
·        invoice approval, accruals & reporting : approve & verify transport invoices; gather data and issue reporting to assist decision making and accounting
·        claims & returns management : investigate and respond to transportation claims; also to monitor the use of the return procedure by carriers and in coordination with the local cs offices
·        productivity projects: continuously scan moscow supply chain for productivity opportunities; give idea and show improvement opportunities
·        issue resolutions : drive issue resolution on ad-hoc basis

Candidate Requirements:

·        Warehouse and transportation operational knowledge
·        At least 2 years operational experience in a logistics organisation
·        Good understanding of transport market in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus and other Former Soviet Union countries
·        Hands-on, enjoy challenges, high level of energy, passionate and results driven
·        Strong people & influencing skills
·        Fluent in Russian and English
·        Good IT skills (MS Office, especially excel)
·        Welcome Experience with Warehouse Management Systems   
Preferred Qualifications:
* Consumer Products Industry Experience.
* Masters degree preferred.
* Six Sigma certification preferred.
* SAP/WMS experience preferred.
