In (COMPANY NAME) Outsourcing Servicesthere is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements.These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR. We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.
The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses. Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an (COMPANY NAME) Delivery Center or, in some cases, an (COMPANY NAME) office.
Job Description Client Operations professionals are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. They design, manage and implement the activities associated with key business functions. The Operations Support capability focuses on the skills or attributes that support infrastructure design, implementation and ongoing maintenance critical to ensuring that those individuals responsible for Unit Management and Service Delivery can focus on their core responsibilities and client requirements. The Technology Infrastructure Outsourcing specialty incorporates a wide range of outsourcing skills that focus on four major areas of IT and technical support: communications, desktop management and mobility, customer support and hosting.
A System Operator is responsible for either Help Desk operations or Console operations.
Key responsibilities may include: * Providing user assistance via phone * Completing registration * Escalating and following up on incidents and user requests * Resolving tier 1 incidents * Monitoring systems and databases * Responsibility for operation, monitoring and control of machines * Generating reports * Notifying users of incidents * Executing, controlling and verifying backups * Controlling and preparing planned and unplanned tasks
Candidate Requirements:
*non experience in a relevant technology required * one of the following required: intermediate level vocational training in use of computing systems; advanced level vocational training in administration of computing systems or telecommunication and computing systems * required skills: operating systems: windows, unix, novell, host; databases: sql server, oracle, informix, sybase, db2; networks: tcp/ip, lan, wan, cisco * rotating shift. * asset good communication in english (written and oral)
