(COMPANY NAME)'s Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR. We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.
The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses. Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an (COMPANY NAME) Delivery Center or, in some cases, an (COMPANY NAME) office.
Job Description
Service Delivery professionals are responsible for providing service delivery across the breadth of offerings such as accounting, information technology, application development and maintenance, helpdesk services, procurement, learning and training, and human resources. The work that is performed by our delivery professionals may serve one or more clients concurrently and they may be located directly at a client site or within our global delivery network.
Individuals within the global network of Delivery Centers provide clients with proven solutions, proprietary software assets and industry best practices to deliver an outsourcing solution at a fraction of the cost required to run the process in house. The Delivery Center model is based on the principle that efficiencies and economies of scale are achieved through procedural best practices and centralized relationships for our clients specializing in finance and accounting, procurement, customer service, human resources and other services.
A Junior System Technical is responsible for installation, maintenance and administration of operating systems, databases, networks and communications.
Key responsibilities may include: * Security (creation, maintenance and management of system access accounts) * Management and administration of printing services * Incident management and resolution * Optimization of resources and services * Disk space administration (assigning, monitoring and alarms) * Technical support to other teams (Database, Production, Development) * Opening cases and following up open cases * Management of backup copies * Product software installations * Management of and support for hardware installations * Installation, adaptation and testing of patches * Maintenance of installation documentation * Maintenance of the hardware and software inventory * Management, maintenance and application of contingency plans * Management and execution of change requests * Preparation of monthly technical reports * Management of database objects: tables, users, authorizations * Construction of management and maintenance utilities: Backup, Restore, Data Loading, Downloading * Version migration * Analysis of incidents and detection of errors * Configuration and supervision of network security * Alarm configuration and management * Management of the availability of communication lines
Candidate Requirements:
* 0 years work experience required * degree (or equivalent) required in computing, telecommunications engineering or in physics/mathematics with a specialization in computing * required skills: operating systems (windows, unix, novell, host); databases (sql server, oracle, informix, sybase, db2); networks (tcp/ip, lan, wan, cisco) * advanced english (oral and written)
