Offices located in New York and London with Operations sites in Delaware, Dallas, Bournemouth, and Mumbai, supported by approximately 200 individuals across product, client service, sales, relationship management, operations, and technology.
C&CM Product Development delivers strategic business initiatives such as the Global Collateral Engine (GCE). GCE is a business project to improve the platforms, controls, and operating procedures in the Collateral Management business. We will meet the emerging demands of clients by: * Minimizing their financing costs via global availability and collateral re-use across legal entities and with counterparts (rehypothecation) * Maximizing their collateral usage by leveraging multi-asset collateral pools including those held at external depots (Euroclear) * Optimizing the use of collateral across multiple counterparts via netting and hypothetical projections * Mitigating risks with tools to simulate portfolios and changes in their eligibility schedules We will improve JPM's own operating environment by: * Automating processes to review/change eligibility schedules, substitute collateral, deliver reports, and manage system capacity * Providing online access to information on the entire collateral portfolio * Streamlining the number of systems that value, clear and hold collateral Role and Responsibilities: Assistant Vice President Product Manager , direct Report to GCE Business Program Manager / EMEA based in London
Accountable for: * Planning, coordination and execution of global business migration from existing operating / system platform to future state (deployment, data, communications, user testing, training) * Direct support of the Business Program Manager in all duties as required
Product/Technical Knowledge * Business change management for Collateral Management in a dynamic /market sensitive environment * Results driven and with a strong business analysis, project management and strategic planning skills * Ability to develop product strategy to support the sales and marketing effort. * Proven track record of delivery of complex products - collateral management * Strong in using MS Project, Excel and Access * Information Technology literate Leadership * Lead and coordinate virtual teams globally * Sound judgment to make effective decision making using fact based analysis and influence others * Ability to facilitate senior groups and resolve conflicts Communication * Excellent at making verbal and written presentations. * Proven communication / presentation skills * Strong verbal communicator to senior audience/ stakeholders Ownership & Initiative Motivated to work in banking, proactive, enthusiastic and determined, results focused and takes own initiativ
Problem Solving/Analytical Logical and clear in problem solving / strong analytical skills
Teamwork Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain close working relationship with sales, customer service, product delivery managers, technology and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product profitability
Candidate Requirements:
Experience (Required) Proven track record of delivery major business change - cutover from existing to new production environments and business program management support
Experience (Nice to Have) Experienced in the Collateral Management / Securities financing
Qualifications: * BA degree or equivalent required, MBA or equivalent desired * Project Management Qualification e.g. PMP, Six Sigma or equivalent desired Travel Requirements: Adhoc/Limited
