Equity Derivative Documentation Specialist - Associate - Based in London

Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities: 
* The candidate will be working within the EMEA Equities Structured    Transactional Documentation Group, which is part of the Global OTC Documentation function. The Group covers drafting bespoke and non standardized documentation, Master Confirmations, Fed tracking and MIS reporting.
* The successful candidate's prime responsibility will focus on: drafting structured equity derivatives confirmations, query resolution, drafting and negotiating Master Confirmation Agreements while ensuring that the confirmation process follows the firm's procedural, legal, regulatory and audit compliance framework.
* Liaise with internal and external partners eg, traders, marketers, legal, credit, and counterparty/clients to accurately draft and execute confirms and/or MCA's.
* Maintain accurate records and confirmation history in our Documentation database.
* Independently resolve outstanding issues and communicate/escalate problems to Senior Management.
* Participate in industry initiatives and working groups

Candidate Requirements:

Experience 
* Understanding of the transactional documentation processes within differing financial OTC markets.
* Technical proficiency in the documenting and understanding of Equities' products.
* Experience of interpreting, and demonstrating an understanding of, legal documentation within the ISDA Equities documentation environment.
* Excellent documentation negotiation skills.
* The ability to understand complex derivative structures and break them down into their component parts.
* Demonstration of an up-to-date awareness of industry initiatives and projects in the Equities markets, especially within ISDA.  Equity Derivatives:
Vanilla equity derivative and exotic equity products eg, Collars, Call/Put Spreads, Straddles, Barrier Options, Pre-paid Variable Obligation Forwards, Two-part Swaps, Cliquet Options a/k/a Accumulator Options, Index/Share Basket trades
