This senior level position involves managing controller, financial planning & analysis, and business integration functions of (COMPANY NAME) Tax and Accounting's international businesses in the EMEA region.
Key Accountabilities: General
* Senior Finance lead will oversee Business Integration and Financial Planning & Analysis functions for an expanding EMEA region. * Build strong department & team to support several cross functional business units * Establish strong working relationships with both locally entrenched business units & US based headquarters and business units * Communicate effectively to senior leaders through verbal and written communications * Provide strategic leadership, coaching and feedback to team members and stakeholders across areas of responsibilities * Other duties/projects as required based on situational requirements and needs of the business. Financial Planning & Analysis * Lead decision support initiatives for investment analysis and to determine investment allocations across the region * Create key metrics, KPIs and dashboards for regional and headquarter audiences * Drive strategy for revenue and expense management looking at global metrics and indices * Drive profitable sales through product and channel analysis * Drive and support forecasting, planning and budgeting activities for EMEA * Communicate P&L results and variance analysis across the region * Provide analytical direction for merger and acquisition targets Controller * Oversee and develop standard reporting for EMEA businesses and deliver to US headquarters * Drive transfer pricing strategy and execution * Provides leadership for exported / imported product commissions * Provides financial operations support for activities such as shared services and contract administration * Drive operational strategies in region and ensure global alignment Business Integration * Perform due diligence for mergers and acquisitions by providing advice and counsel regarding integration * Oversee SAP, Cognos and other system integration across EMEA for functions such order to cash, financial data management, forecasting, commissions etc. * Assess, recommend and implement new business and financial processes as appropriate Responsibility for others (direct/indirect): * Expanding EMEA finance team as the organization grows in EMEA * Identifying and building top talent through people development and leadership Travel: Based out of UK with travel to US and EMEA markets expected
Candidate Requirements:
Qualifications * Degree; advanced degree or MBA / CIMA certification preferred; relevant and demonstrable progressive experience * Proven track record of finance experience in a large organizations with cross-functional teams * Thorough knowledge of all operations processes and interdependencies required * Deadline and detail oriented with demonstrated ability to deliver on commitments * Proven track record of successful project implementation with definable contributions to the business * Ability to drive and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills * Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence actions/decisions of others in US and EMEA markets * Ability to effectively interact with senior level management * Knowledge of software and services business for tax and accounting professionals is a plus (COMPANY NAME) employees take pride in providing our customers around the world with information that is timely, accurate, unbiased and trusted.
