Department Description:
The team is responsible for ensuring the timely reconciliation of cash, stock and other transactional data in the investment management system ledger system. The reconciliation processes operate within standard daily, weekly and monthly cycles.
Key Responsibilities: * Supervise the completion of operational processes and controls to facilitate the reconciliation of investment records to third party data. This is primarily automated but also some manual reconciliation. * Management, investigation, referral and resolution of all differences identified via the automated reconciliation process. * Production of MI and KPI data including full narration of trends and anomalies. * Supervise the daily, weekly or monthly third party cash and asset reconciliation process (level 1 and 2) including processing data feeds in to reconciliation tool (SSR or Intellimatch), running automatch functionality, manual matching, investigation of breaks to support referral or (in case of asset holdings) to breakdown to transactional level for referral and reporting * Daily tracking of key deliverables including escalation to appropriate parties in terms of issue or delays * Close out issues with third party data suppliers in the event of non delivery or errors on feeds via telephone, email or fax (dependent on third party) * Review and sign off of standard control reports and checks in accordance with agreed procedures and timeframes within internal SLAs * Ensure all exceptions have been identified and referred to appropriate parties in a timely fashion * Supervise the reconciliation teams including task allocation and prioritisation, training, leave approval and issue resolution * Production of management information including client and internal KPI data * Communication with donor sites to support issue escalation and communication completion of deadlines throughout process * Support required Audit (internal or external) as required About (COMPANY NAME) Worldwide Securities Services (COMPANY NAME) Worldwide Securities Services, a division of (COMPANY NAME) Chase Bank, N.A., is a global industry leader with $13.9 trillion in assets under custody. Candidate Requirements:
Key Skills: * Pensions supervisory experience. * Communicate effectively with business teams. * Asset and/or Cash Reconciliation experience * Good computer and spreadsheet skills (VB macro skills in Excel a distinct advantage) * Knowledge of automated reconciliation * Good investigation skills * Personal organisation around work targets. * Works well under pressure in a high volume environment with intra day deadlines. Experience (desirable): * Investment Management Back Office Operations. * Automated reconciliation systems, especially Intellimatch * HiPortfolio Investment Management system. * High volume operational environment. * Knowledge of Investment Operations ( Pricing / Settlements / corporate actions etc ) (COMPANY NAME) offers an exceptional benefits program and a highly competitive compensation package.
