Job Description:
Strategy Analyst
At Barclaycard, we always want to stay one step ahead. Not just in terms of the products and services we offer, but also the way we work as a business. Which is why we're putting together the most intelligent, articulate and ambitious operational strategists to form a brand new team. Succeed here, and the visibility of this work means you can expect unrivalled opportunities to develop and progress.
About the role Joining a small team of 10 specialists, you'll support the redesign of our global operations platform by obtaining, collating and analysing strategically relevant business data. You can expect to make a big contribution to a number of major initiatives, whether you're providing data to support the global roadmap or delivering analysis to drive our global technology architecture, platform and channel strategies. We'll also expect you to develop relationships with peers to gain quantitative, qualitative or customer experience information which you'll use to build an-up-date library.
About you The ability to generate data and insights that are both clear and comprehensive is essential, and you'll be confident when it comes to producing high quality deliverables using data analysis and presentation tools. You have the confidence and credibility to challenge conventional thinking at the most senior levels - and to bring key decision makers round to your way of thinking. Outstanding stakeholder management skills are therefore an absolute must. It could be that you're working in a consultancy now, implementing strategies and influencing people from the top down.
About Operations at Barclaycard Not satisfied with having the largest market share in the UK, Barclaycard is one of the leading and most innovative payments companies in the world. We already have more than 16 million customers and, thanks to our commitment to delivering ground-breaking products, we're expanding globally. But without the right operational architecture in place, none of this would be possible. That's why we're introducing a brand new team to define our operational strategy and ensure it's rolled out across the business. A team that won't be afraid to challenge convention or debate the most complex issues. A team that, by working as an internal consultancy for the business, will help to shape its ongoing success. And you could be part of it.
About the rewards As well as the prestige of working for a global brand, you'll enjoy all the benefits you'd expect from a name like Barclaycard - including a pension scheme, private health cover and generous holiday. To find out more or apply
