Job Description:
Business Systems Analyst
We have opportunities in this role in London, Canary Wharf.
New systems, new solutions Systems solutions and business growth go hand-in-hand. But to find these solutions, you first need the talent to identify efficient and effective business processes through technology. As a Business Systems Analyst with Barclays, you'll play that crucial role. Working with a range of IT teams, you'll analyse how they operate and identify where they can improve, delivering your findings to senior management. You'll be the adviser who influences big decisions, drives change and shapes strategy, globally. That makes this a crucial role that'll give your business analysis career the boost it needs.
What you'll give our customers as a Business Systems Analyst As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll provide the insight that drives faster and better business processes. And that can only mean one thing: an even better service for our customers. You'll analyse and exploit the wealth of business opportunities that can be found through IT, providing meaningful analysis on the potential of alternative approaches to doing business. At the same time, you'll find ways to improve the information systems that that make doing business that little bit easier.
What you'll get in return Help our customers get the best that Barclays has to offer, and you'll get the same in return. We're not just talking about valuable benefits like great bonus potential, private healthcare, childcare savings, and a huge range of employee discounts. You'll also enjoy a unique company spirit that believes in giving people the freedom to do a great job today, and the support to reach their biggest ambitions in the future.
What you'll need as a Business Systems Analyst The success of everyone at Barclays is measured by their ability to put our customers at the centre of their day. To do that in this role, you'll need a consulting background and an advanced knowledge of business analysis methodologies. We're not expecting an IT whizz, rather someone who has a general understanding of technology and knows what kind of impact it can have on a global organisation ( no doubt, a Technology degree will be a big help ). The ability to influence people at all levels is also crucial, making strong presentation and communication skills a must. On top of that, we're expecting someone who shows initiative and can tackle problems creatively.
We'll judge you on your ability and nothing else. Careers built around customers
